What do I get when I buy?

A redeem code. You enter it on the activation page along with the Computer ID the program shows you, and it returns the licence that unlocks StemWrapper on that machine. The same code activates your second computer.

How do I activate?

Open Menu → Licence registration in the program and press Copy beside the Computer ID. Go to the activation page on this website, enter the redeem code, your name and your email, and paste the Computer ID. The page gives you a licence: press Copy licence, go back to the program and press Paste licence.

That is the only moment anything needs the internet. From then on the licence is checked on your own machine, and the program contacts nobody.

Does the trial hold anything back?

No. The trial is the whole program - every format, every word length, every feature - for a fixed number of days. It waits a few seconds at start-up behind a panel that says why. The line at the bottom left of the window says how many days are left.

It says "This does not look like a licence"

Only part of it was copied. Use the Copy licence button on the website rather than selecting the text by hand: the licence is one long line and it is easy to miss the end of it.

It says "This licence belongs to another computer"

You have pasted the licence issued for your other machine. Each computer gets its own. Activate again with the same redeem code and this machine's Computer ID.

Do I need my name and email to be the real ones?

They are written inside the licence and signed with it, and they appear in the licence window on your machine. Use the ones you want to see there - and an address you can still read later, because it is what identifies your licence if you ever write to us.
